Standing (Qiyam) · Al-Fatiha

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

Bismillahi r-rahmani r-rahim
Alhamdu lillahi rabbi l-'alamin
Ar-rahmani r-rahim
Maliki yawmi d-din
Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka nasta'in
Ihdina s-sirata l-mustaqim
Sirata l-ladhina an'amta 'alayhim ghayri l-maghdubi 'alayhim wa la d-dallin

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, Lord of all the worlds, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgement. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us on the straight path, the path of those You have blessed, not of those who earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray.

Standing (Qiyam) · Al-Kawthar

إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ

Inna a'taynaka l-kawthar
Fa salli li-rabbika wanhar
Inna shani'aka huwa l-abtar

We have given you abundance. So pray to your Lord and offer sacrifice. Indeed, the one who hates you is the one cut off. (After Al-Fatiha one can also recite Al-Ikhlas.)

Bowing (Ruku)

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ

Subhana Rabbiyal-'Azim

Glory to my Lord, the Magnificent. (3 times)

Prostration (Sujud)

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى

Subhana Rabbiyal-A'la

Glory to my Lord, the Most High. (3 times)

Sitting (Tashahhud)

التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

At-tahiyyatu lillahi was-salawatu wat-tayyibat
As-salamu 'alayka ayyuha n-nabiyyu wa rahmatu llahi wa barakatuh
As-salamu 'alayna wa 'ala 'ibadi llahi s-salihin
Ashhadu an la ilaha illa llah
Wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh

All greetings, prayers and good words belong to God. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of God and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of God. I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger.

Supplication (Dua) and greeting

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina 'adhaban-nar
As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the next, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. Then we end with the greeting to the right and to the left: “Peace and God's mercy be upon you.”
